Your route at a glance
8 hoursYour Egyptologist guide meets you with a private, air-conditioned vehicle at your hotel or cruise ship, and you cross the Nile bridge to the West Bank.
Three royal tombs, such as those of Ramses IV, Ramses IX and Tausert/Setnakht, depending on which are open. Your guide explains the history and decoration of each. Tutankhamun's tomb is not included (extra fee).
The terraced mortuary temple of Egypt's famous female pharaoh at Deir el-Bahari, and the story of her reign.

Good to know
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Bring a scarf or light jacket for sun protection.
- Cameras are allowed at most sites, without flash inside the tombs. Some tombs charge extra for photography.
- The tour runs daily. Book at least 24 hours in advance.
