• Here is a revised 7 day itinerary with the order: Cairo first, then Hurghada, then Luxor, then the 2 night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, then fly back to Cairo from Aswan. The cruise sailing days are Sunday, Tuesday, Friday (available May to end August). This example assumes you arrive in Cairo early on Day 1 and take the Tuesday sailing from Luxor.
• Day 1 – Monday – Cairo full day tour
• Morning 8am start. Visit Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Valley Temple. After lunch, go to the Egyptian Museum. Late afternoon visit Khan el Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.
• Day 2 – Tuesday – Fly to Hurghada
• Morning flight from Cairo to Hurghada (about 1 hour). Arrive late morning. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free for beach or optional half day snorkeling. Overnight in Hurghada.
• Day 3 – Wednesday – Full day in Hurghada
• Full day for Red Sea activities. Options include a boat trip to Giftun Island for snorkeling and diving, or a desert safari, or relax at the resort. Overnight in Hurghada.
• Day 4 – Thursday – Transfer from Hurghada to Luxor then board Nile cruise (sailing day is Tuesday? Wait, need to align sailing days. Cruise sails on Sunday Tuesday Friday. Thursday is not a sailing day. So you cannot board on Thursday. Let me adjust the schedule so that Day 4 is a Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday. Let me redo the days.)
• I realize the above example fails because Thursday is not a sailing day. Let me instead create a version that works with the given sailing days. Assume you arrive in Cairo on Saturday. Then:
• Day 1 – Saturday – Cairo full day tour

• Day 2 – Sunday – Fly from Cairo to Hurghada
• Morning flight to Hurghada. Check into hotel. Afternoon at leisure on the beach. Overnight Hurghada.
• Day 3 – Monday – Full day in Hurghada
• Snorkeling or diving trip to Giftun Island. Overnight Hurghada.
• Day 4 – Tuesday – Transfer from Hurghada to Luxor, board 2 night Nile cruise (sailing day Tuesday)
• Morning drive from Hurghada to Luxor (about 3.5 to 4 hours). Arrive Luxor around midday. Board your cruise ship. Lunch on board. Afternoon tour of Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
• Day 5 – Wednesday – Luxor West Bank and sail to Edfu
• Morning visit Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon. Return to ship for lunch. Sail to Edfu. Late afternoon visit Edfu Temple. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.
• Day 6 – Thursday – Kom Ombo and arrive Aswan then fly to Cairo
• Morning sail to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Continue sailing to Aswan, arriving around midday. Disembark after lunch (by 1pm). Then transfer to Aswan airport for a late afternoon flight to Cairo (about 1.5 hours). Arrive Cairo evening. Overnight in Cairo.
• Day 7 – Friday – Final Cairo tour and departure
• Morning visit Coptic Cairo (Hanging Church) or the Citadel of Saladin. Transfer to Cairo airport for your departure flight.

• The final route of your 7 day tour will depend on your arrival day in Egypt and the available Nile cruise sailing days Sunday Tuesday Friday from May to end August. We will adjust the order of Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor, and Aswan to make the best use of your time and ensure you catch the correct 2 night cruise from Luxor to Aswan. For example, if you arrive on a Saturday, you may start with Cairo then Hurghada then Luxor for a Tuesday cruise. If you arrive on a Monday, you may start with Hurghada first then Luxor for a Friday cruise. Our team will provide you with a personalized day by day plan based on your exact arrival date. No two itineraries may look the same, but all will include Cairo, Hurghada, and the 2 night Nile cruise.
